Refinery

Kaltech’s Modular-Refineries are skid mounted modular crude oil distillation units (CDU)

which process from a hundred barrels of oil per day from condensate to ten thousand barrels of crude oil per day and are capable of producing a variety of finished products including

gasoline, kerosene, and diesel.

Two or more of our 10,000 bpd plants can be installed on a single site allowing for maximum

flexibility in operation and the simultaneous processing of more than one type of

crude oil.

The advantages of a modular refinery are:

• Smaller units can be set up and in operation within two days after arrival at a site when the foundation and storage tanks are in place.

• Two operators can restart the plant from a cold start and have the plant in full operation in a matter of hours.

• Completely automated and once an operator sets all the controlling points, all product temperatures and flows can be controlled automatically.

• Only a flat support area, or concrete slab without anchor bolts is required to support the plant.

• Fuel supply can be natural gas, naphtha, diesel, fuel oil or a combination of these fuels.
